During this Youth Week, we announced that our Ministry in collaboration with other stakeholders will lead various Youth activities from across the 10 provinces of our country.
In our remarks at the official launch which was held in Lusaka, we stated that youth week will offer our youths and the nation at large an opportunity to reflect on many issues.
We added that presently, the youth week offers the youths an opportunity to reflect on their critical roles and economic emancipation.
This week will also provide a very important platform; the National Youth Indaba to be held in Lusaka with Youth participants drawn from the 156 constituencies and will be graced by the Republican President of Zambia HE Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, for the young people to interact and express their concerns to their welfare and those around them.
As we celebrate the potential and power of young people to shape the future of our increasingly interconnected world. The National Youth Indaba will as well provide an opportunity for our young people and the nation to reflect on commitments and responsibilities to find solutions to some of our toughest global challenges.
During the two-day National Youth Indaba, the Government through our Ministry will also spell out a report on the progress made regarding the implementation of various Youth programmes among others.
