National Sports Council of Zambia in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts held a workshop for coaches and technical officials from National Sports Federation who are based on the Copperbelt.
Officiating at the occasion was Acting Director of Sports Mr. Gibson Muyaule who represented the Permanent Secretary Mr. Kangwa Chileshe.
“I have reviewed the workshop`s scope, which covers the National Sport Policy, an overview of the National Sports Council of Zambia and the dissemination of the Zambian Coaching framework, I trust that the workshop will successfully impart knowledge on sports development and management. I also hope that the increased knowledge will enable coaches to interact and share their experiences, discussing common challenges they face in their coaching endeavors,” said Mr. Chileshe
The one-day workshop which is being held in Ndola will not only enhance capacity building but will also foster interaction and collaborations between the conveners.
